About Us
Custom Teak Marine, Inc., Marine Div., has been serving the marine
industry since 1998. The owner is a third
generation woodwork craftsman who learned the basics
from his father, who in turn had apprenticed with his
father. The owner also has a degree in mechanical
engineering, which he applies every day in assuring that
dimensions, fit, and attention to detail is never
compromised.
We provide woodwork custom
design, fabrication, installation, and finish services
to the proud owners of power and sail boats, both large
and small. We trust that you have found the
items of interest on our website. In the event you
have not, we can readily accommodate you with your
woodworking needs.
Custom Teak Marine, Inc. does not import any of the products that
are for sale on our website. Instead, we are very
proud to report that all items are of our manufacture in
our facility located in St. Petersburg, Fl.
We
are especially interested in taking on long term
projects, e.g., complete or partial rehabilitation of a
boat's interior such as seen on the
interiors page of our
website.
We have integrated a shopping cart to accommodate
our customers who may need items of our manufacture that
fall within the category of "standard" sizes and have
been assigned traditional part numbers so that they can
integrate into the shopping cart easily.
Much of our work
falls within the category of "custom design/fabrication";
thus,
we can not logically attempt to place prices on our
website for any custom design/fabrication scope of work. We recommend our customers to either call
727-768-6065, send an email
customteakmarine@gmail.com, or fill out the
on-line form to communicate
the scope of your project and obtain basic pricing. In most
circumstances, it will be necessary to see the boat and
application prior to being in a position to provide an
estimate of costs. If in the event adequate
graphics and or drawings with proper dimensions are
provided we can work from that basis to develop costs.
However, it is always most beneficial to our customer if
we can see the boat and prospective scope of work prior
to developing any range of costs. This obviously
minimizes the guesswork.
